Nature vs. Self-Reliance

I remember talking about this in class and I had a very strong opinion about the essay "Nature". Emerson believed that nature was like us, we all were the same and had souls. I do not have the same opinion with Emerson. I believe that God made humans and animals but not the same, that humans had souls and animals were just there for us to enjoy. Animals do not have souls and nature is for our own pleasure of food and sight seing.

Essay Writing

Some of the tules I used last year to become a good write or at least learn how to right was the oly paragraph. This taugt me what I need in my essay and how to layer it out. I learned pretty fast and it mad things a lot easier. The only thing I don't like about it is that I hate typing, writing and how long it takes especially with the oly paragraph teqnique.

Now I feel like a good write when I take my time and get every detail and fact in there. The oly paragrapgh has made me a very good writer if I try my best. By the end of the school year I will be a great write and with the practice I'm getting in 11th grade english I will get to that point in my life.

The Crucible: Injustice

There has been many court cases on if a kid really killed a human being because of video games or did they do it because he is a human being and wanted to. I believe that video games do not force kids to go out and kill people, they are an excitement and are obviously fake and unrealistic. They might give ideas but parents should keep their kids accountable on what video games they are playing at a certain age. I hate when a kid is found innocent when video games were blammed of his murdor case.

This is like The Crucible because John Proctor was blammed for something he abviously didn't do but was killed because he wouldn't lie to them and ruin his reputation. He had plenty of evidence that proves he was innocent but those little things that get brought up and are used as excuses to say he is guilty just like video games ruin his evidencde and get him killed.

Why are we reading The Crucible?

The Crucible was a very interesting book to me, I didn't get to read all of it but I read it enough to understand it and apply it to my life. I'm a Christian and I go by some of the puritans rules, I try to live life to the fullest and sin as less as possible but I don't take is as serious as they do. Their goal is to please God and they do that by going to church every Sunday and I do that too but sometimes and mess up and ask for forgivness. The puritans go to jail and act as if they are going to hell because they have messed up.

I'm just like John and I'm sure a lot of people are like him too. Towards the end of the movie John did not wanna lie and give in that he was a witch when he really wasn't. He'd rather die saying he was a good man then go to jail and say that he was a witch. I'm the same way, I will not let people think I'm this horrible person when I die. I wanna make sure I have a good reputation that shows who I really was and lived my life out as.

Introduction: American Literature

To be an American you have to be free. Americans all have certain rights and more than others. Those others can't do a lot we Americans can do and they fight to be like us. I feel bad for them because I feel like I don't even diserve to be an American, those others that don't have freedom like me work a lot harder than me and actually wanna do something about it. The diserve to be an American more than me. thinking about that makes me have goals. My goals are pretty much to live life to the fullest and get best out of it. My plan is to graduate high school and join the military for 3 years so I can go to college and start a life on my own.

Even though we are Americans in the US, people still hate on each other for what skin color they are. It's really annoying, we should all be treated the same and have the same rights. I also believe that even if you were born in Africa or Europe you should still be treated the same and have the same rights as we Americans do. I hate when people get judged especially when it wasn't even their fault for being born in Africa or Europe.

Most Americans have the same goal. Graduate high school, go to a college and live on their own but I'm different. I wanna join the military because someone told me if your capable you should be fighting for your country and that's what I believe too. Then there are those that do drugs, live on the street and screw up their life when they could be having a family and living under a roof with lots of food.

What I'm Doing This Winter Break

What I'm doing this Winter Break is going to be amazing. I'm going to hangout with all my bro's and do a bunch of crazy stuff. Today I'm probably going to do a bunch of make up work and then go to my friend's house to play call of duty! Then Saturday I'm going to go caroling at the mall, hopefully none of my friend's will see more or it will be very embarrassing. The rest of my Winter Break I'll just plan on the go like I always do. I'll make sure not to regret one moment of it and especially not be bored once but my main purpose is to get my make up work done so I can pass 1st semester and move on to pass high school.
